Hello,
i tryed putting my recovery cd in and becouse it is stuck in a loop it will not work ,I can stop the loop by keeping the blue screen on but half to turn off the pc to start over again .it starts to bring up windows and it flashs a blue screan for a sec thin goes to safe mode where it does a count down from 29 sec to o thin starts back trying to start windows again, thats the loop im talking about .when i put the recovery disc in it will not read it .i thank its becouse of the loop.

what you need to do is go into bios and change the boot order to CDROM first then HDD.
this will then pickup the cd and boot from it when you reboot the computer.

some computers allow you to press f9 on start up to get into a boot meny, thus allowing you to choose cdrom.

when booting up look at the screen, it should tell you which key to press. if your pc has that option. if not you will have to go into bios.

if you don't know your bios, then please reply with your computer/motherboard model

how do i find the mother bord model number or make its a gatway laptop model # mx3702 s # n186b d10 00544 thank you sharpman for any help
