Hello ,
AM FACING THE SAME PROBLEM.MY DVD -RW IS GETTING PROJECTED AS DVD-RAM AND AM NOT ABLE TO BURN THE DISK,BUT IT S READING THE DISK.

sUGGESTIONS REQUIRED

DVD-RW AS DVD-RAM
Dvd decoder - Download - CD and DVD
Dvd shrink - Download - CD and DVD
Dvd drive repair - Download - Backup and recovery
Ubuntu mount dvd - Guide
Mp4 to dvd - Download - Video converters

please update your drive

go to device manager and update its firmware
