i am new to linux and i have problem with my pidgin. it does not seem to connect me to yahoo and always keeps on displaying "connecting" message. help?

hye, for the first time you log it , it is sometimes a little long, but it should normally work fine after :) try not to download when signing it, it may reduce the chances of establishing a proper connection
