Hello,

I need to create a dick copy of a dvd9 series. All i have is a 4.7gb dvd. Kindly advise on how to go about this. Is is it possible to copy this in parts but as a data without loosing the sub-titles. I have realised that most movies copied as data while being played do not have the sub-title option. Please assist.

Thank you and regards,
Ben.

Dear Sir,

You have to use nero,

Create an image of the original disc,

Then burn the image to a DVD disc

Thanks

Dear Realiser,

Thank you for your prompt response. Can I burn an image (created using Roxio Creater Basic) with Nero. Or rather should I use Nero to burn to create the image and then burn it with the same software?

Creating an image file will not help if its more than 4.38 GB unless you compress either the image or the Movie

In order to burn a DVD9 disc copy to dvd5 you will have to do one of the following

- Compress the iso to reach less than 4.38GB or
- Extract the movie using a DVD Ripper software (Google DVD Decrypter) and then convert it to DVD5 format then burn it to disc. (Google Winavi Video Converter)

- Both methods will need to reduced video quality of the Movies but not too much though.
