Can not burn cd's

Hello,
I recvd all the wonderful suggestions and followed all of the steps bit now my cd burner comes up but when I insert the blank cd it will not burn the music. I can import new cd's but I can not burn

hi jackie,

have you ever burn any cd on the drive?

are you sure its a writer?

what is the software you are using for the burning process?

please provide these information
