Hello,

I want to learn about shell scripting in Unix system but I don't have any idea how to start this program, is there any software that I can install into my window XP? How do I start learn shell scripting? Can I write this program with any type of text editor, example notepad.

Thanks for the information, I need to know what is the material when I start learn this program. What software should I install on my PC? Do I need server? or should I learn both Unix and Linux?
