Reinstalling XP

Hello,
I recently wiped my hard drive and then reinstalled Windows XP on my Dell Computer using the CD's that came with the original package.
All seemed to be ok but when it came to getting online I had no Network Connection facility on my Control panel so could not complete the facility. Also, the icons are very large and will not respond to the change facility.
Please help me as I am currently using a friend's computer.

hi there,

you need to install the driver

use the driver cd browse it for the network adapter driver

or download it from official website:

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx
