Network Problems

Hello, I have a problem with my network adaptor, recently we moved it so we could get Network access higher up in the house; it worked for a few months, then one day it just stopped recieving internet connection, unless you were sitting in the room with it, or directly above it, this is quite obnoxious as both me and my bro play MMOs and one the computers that has it installed is not able to connect

I wish to know why it suddenly decided to stop detecting the adapter
