Problem with my computer

Hello,
i own a laptop and one day i turn it on the screen turns on, but nothing happens
none of my buttons work as well.it seems like my computer has been locked out on me.....
please help,

hi there,

press and hold F8 key during startup

this should take you to safe mode

then restart pc normally

this should work
