Can't play game on laptop

Hello,


All my computers/ laptops are on my network connection. I recently bought the Sims 3 game for my sister and found out the desktop doesn't have a compatible video card]. So I installed the sims on the desktop and shared the folder which allowed me to download the game on to her laptop] via the network connection with no problem. The only problem that came up was when launching the game it said to insert the cd but her laptop does not have a cd rom its an acer aspire one book with no cd rom. Is there any way I can play this game without inserting the actual cd? or is there another alternative so she can play the game ?
