Dont know wat this is

Hello,
my laptop (compaq presario cq40) has a horizontal line at the bottom now it is increasing vertically...it seems like 3green lines and 3 red lines at the bottom of the task bar... is it the problem with the sreen??? wat should i do to solve this??? plz help

It could be a fault screen however you might want to see if your graphics drivers have updated, if they have it might be worth rolling the graphics driver to its previous state to see if your problem dissapears
