Second o/s

Hello,
help.i have a dell pc.500 gig. hard drive...640 gig.external hard drive memory..4 gig. vists o/s


but i have a nice camcorder sony trv-608... (analog)now .vista will not lode drivers for this unit.

my question is..what is the trick to loading a second o/p
like wi..98 have lots of storage space..will this work>>>>>>>>>

sure hate to loose this camcorder.sony has no upgrades..

god i sure could use someone to talk to this old man.......thank you....ron
