hello,
all you have to do is to enter in the bios functions and disable an option called ACPI and after that it should be ok

I went through the bios settings, and did not see anywhere to disable the ACPI. There is an ACPI configuration to change settings, I tried switching it to the other option but that did not work either. Note if I remove the new Sata drive the IDE drive is recognized. If I remove the old SATA drive and keep the new drive in, the IDE drive is not recognized.
