Install XP on HP CQ 717TU

Hello,
I was buy HP Comapq CQ 40 717 TU, There is troble everytime i want to instal windows XP always show blue screen. than i try to install Windows 7 and i didn't find any problems. Anyone can helpme how to install windows XP on HP Compaq CQ 40 717 TU?

befor instling xp . we should think about ram .we could not install xp on 4gb ram. we see blue screen and get message damage ram and hdd . so we can use sp-3 there. bellow 4gb ram bootable virous can do this. take out hdd and formate another computer then put same computer . ifaced same problem hower i put xp on dell1545/where ram is 4gb it is recentliy crash two time. so now iam using sp-3 and iwat to use window7
