Dvd not reading

Hello,
I have two LG Super multi DVD Rewriter modelGH20LS10, here i am facing strange problem
one is reading all type of DVD but cd not reading and another entirly different cd is reading dvd not reading
i formated my pc reintalled new and i connected another pc same problem exist
pliz sugest me a solution

H i there,

You will have to update its firmware in device manager,open run and type devmgmt.msc ,press ok and expand the list till cd/dvd drive.
