Dvd/ cd recorder - player

I have two dvd/cd recorders in my Presario SR1500NX ... For sometime now I can't get them to operate correctly ... I can listen to music , watch movies but when I try to copy to disk from pc or homemade dvd I get from one E:\not accessible _ incorrect function or it goes through the motions of recording and after supposedly finishing the disk is empty but there is a " there are files waiting to be written to disk copied " ...

The second one sticks when I try to open it and or says there is no disk in the recorder and or gives me the same there re files written to disk .... HELP !!!!!!

Hi there,

Make a system restore or even a system repair by booting from windows installation cd and repair the missing files preventing from operating correctly.
