you don't have the drivers installed. go to the support website for your computer.
download the correct drivers and you should be on line again.

Hi there,
As you mentioned after reformatting this issue occurred,well mate after each new windows installation you have to install the drivers so that all hardwares work perfectly, follow link below and download the drivers entering model of laptop and choose your os:
