Well, I burnt a DVD+R using Ashampoo Burning Studio 6, then I mounted an iso using Daemon Tools and the computer got stuck. I restarted the computer and tried burning again . This time the error 'cannot write to device came'. I know the DVD is no longer usable. i do I make it usable again. Even though the file didn't burn, it took up the space in the DVD, but I cannot find the file on the DVD because when I insert the DVD, the computer does not read it properly. Please help. (I do not want to buy softwares so please suggest sharewares and demos ONLY IF THE FREEWARES ARE NOT AT ALL AVAILABLE).
Thank you.

DVD-Rs may not be rewritable but they have less compatibility issues with DVD - drives. So i'd prefer DVD - Rs.
Success is like a bottle of ketchup.
It does not come at once but pours out after trying hard with patience.

Hi there,

Dvd-rw only is rewritable ,on dvd-r once written on it you cannot remove or add data. You can use Nero, download it here:
