Dvd cds

Hello,
my computer cant read dvd but can read normal cds, i have windows xp. i dont know is it the dvd or my computer, but if it is my computer how can i make it to read dvd?

hey there,

well smoetimes dvd roms get damaged very easily and fortunately they are cheap and i would recommend that you purchase another dvd rom and then just change the one you have
