Hello,

now this is how it went down in details:

from control panel i went to display then i chose settings, advanced then adapter from there i went to properties, driver then i uninstalled.
after that when i restarted my computer it would boot but after windows xp it goes totally blank..
now i don't wanna loose my files by formatting and installing new xp,
please help me, what can i do to solve this without loosing my files?

Hi there,

Try booting from windows installation cd and make a system repair ,else connect hard drive to another computer copy your data there and format it then reconnect to the pc and copy all data back t it.
