Problem with white screen on tv

Hello, I have connected my pc to my samsung 19 inch tv, It worked fine for about a week. I am using a vga cable, however when I turned the computer on this morning a recieved just a white screen but the computer booted fine. I changed to a different monitor and it works fine. Could someone suggest a solution to the tv problem. The tv works other than connecting to the pc. Thanks
