Try Flow Architect Studio 3D from en.pixelplan.pl . You can design about everything in this program and than have a 3D walk inside your design and even produce redistribution visualization with it.

Forgot to rate the program. 5 stars. Easy to use. Drag and drop the furnature and resize them by double clicking on the item. Really great program.

You're right, this has been fixed. The mac OS X (dmg) file can be downloaded here : https://sourceforge.net/projects/sweethome3d/files/SweetHome3D/SweetHome3D-2.4/SweetHome3D-2.4-macosx.dmg/download?use_mirror=master

This is only a windows version and cannot even be installed on mac os x!
