i have itunes 9.0.2 for the os x version 10.4.11 so it definitely works

Main Points works with older machines
Weak Infos upgrade path via apple.com should allow for older versions

latest version is totally lame, filled with advert and bugs. don't upgrade

Main Points Not only compatible with the iPod but also with the iPhone and this is really what I needed for my new MAC. Besides the software is free
