Hello,
One of my daycare kids was constantly pressing the power button and now it stays amber and is stuck in sleep mode. It will not boot at all, when I press the power button it acts like it is starting up and then nothing. I disconnected all power cords but still stuck.

remove the power cord and the battery. Press in the power button for 30 seconds. Reconnect the power cord and turn it on again. If your lucky is should work.

OOps I thought this was a laptop. I would still try disconnecting the power cable. Leave it disconnected for 30 minutes and then try to start it. The power supply might have burned out - it's hard to tell. Computers are not meant to take such abuse.
