Hello, please help. :(

I recently bought a product for my . rather expensive too. In order to activate this feature i need to press the NUMBAD key (i found out its f11 on a laptop) and then press foward slash once. However, after pressing numpad i press the slash key like im told to. the problem is, my dam laptop has a plus( + ) key on the same key, and since numpad is on, i cant accesss the slash, only the plus. and now i cant use my product. waste of all the money i saved. :(

please help.... if there is any :/
