Vista installation

Hello,
sir first in my system win vista has installed but i los his media and can't reinstall. so i have taken another win vista for installation, but when i put the media in cdrom it can't boot i mean only one dash is blanking in black screen but the system don't go to instalation so i don't know how i install. anyone help would be appreciated.
