Hello,
I CANT SEE MY DESKTOP , NO STARTUP BAR> OR ANYTHING BUT MY BACKGROUND!. i tried the regedit and . i cant seem to find explorer.exe or Iexplorer.exe under image file execution.option..


WHAT DO I DO ?!?! CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE

AND WHEN . I COULDNT DO IT> I RESTARTED MY COMP
and this is what it said

"THe application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\MFC71.DLL is not a valid windows image. please check this against your installation diskette.. ...
what does that mean???

IM NOT PRO.WITH COMPUTERS!!

HELP ME PLEASE =((

try ctrl, alt, delete and select new task then write explorer

Hi Vick,
First I strongly recommend not to go REGEDIT being an amateur!!! By that you have crashed your system inspite of easy rectification of the issue. It's okay, learnings will help you out further.

Try to rectify the problem with Xp OS. If the problem not resolved with tat option, then go for re-installetion.

HINT: Have a OS installation known person with you while trying this out.
