DVD Drive no where to be found

Hello, so ya i got a Sata DVD writer/reader that used to work before but now it doesnt open close light it doesnt even show in device manager my computer and i dont know where do i find it on Bios but guess its not even there too i also had to turn over the whole case to many positions because the screws holding the mother board broke and i was afraid it would crash down so i bent it 90 degree,120 even went to 180 once but it didnt work at the point of 90 and i had Daemon Tools Lite installed then if it makes a difference and i use win7pro I tried the microsoft fix it i also never had upper and lower filters on the reg edit thingy. Please help i reallly need to get that DVD workin
