You could try a format.
HA JACK I SEE YOU SAID TRY A FORMAT,COULD YOU EXPLAIN WHAT THAT MEANS AND HOW TO DO IT,I JUST STARTED USING COMPUTERS ABOUT A YEAR AGO SO IAM NOT THAT FAMILIAR WITH THINGS YET THANKS THOR.

Formatting is like freshening up a drive one more. It deletes your old data of the drive. Basically it is used in windows installations when you want to start all over again on your computer. First thing, I'd like to ask you is do you have a Vista DVD - ROM, or Vista DVD.
