Hello,

i am quite a 'newbie' at VBA and have run into something that i can't seem to get started. i have sheets by month that have the same amount of columns every month. however, the amount of rows will be different each month. there are duplicate items in each column differentiated by one or more of the other columns. it's probably best to give an example of what i have then of what i would like to see. i hope this is enough info. all help is greatly appreciated.

have you tried using a pivot table?

yes, i did, but i must say that i don't quite understand them. i had better luck with putting this all into a database and running a query on it. but i ran into problems there as well. duplicate records and such. may i ask how you see using a pivot table to get what i want?

Sorry, I thought I emulated your requirement, but now I cannot replicate it. Its close but not a perfect match.

What makes a record unique ? is it TDM code
