Non detection of USB port

Hello,
Iam Aravind .Iam facing a problem regarding USB port ,the system is not detecting USB port it is not even displaying in system information. If i connect the pendrive light glows and same in case of ipod .IS there any changes should be done in Bios settings .how can i fix the problem .please help me..

hi,
try enabling them in the BIOS setup!
this should fix this problem.
