Hi,
The most common reason for a Certificate Error is that your computer date and time are incorrect. Check that via Control Panel and verify that the full date and time are correct - month, day, year, hour, minute and time zone. Correct it if wrong and reboot.
Then go to Windows Update and check for the optional update for Root Certificates and install them as offered (as well as any critical and important updates you have not yet installed).
