Hello,
I am trying to connect my laptop to my TV. I bought a VGA Male to 3-RCA Component Video Male cable online and connected it. It seems to be connecting but the picture is scrambled waves of color (like grandmas tv used to be when there was a storm and grandpa had to rotate the antenna for a better signal). I am so lost on how to fix this. I have tried all different screen resolutions and none work. My laptop is a Dell M5030 and my TV is a standard (not HD) Sharp. Please help!

Hi,

The cable may be damaged which is the only reason for distored images.Purchase a new one. You can also use a signal amplifier to test it on tv.

Thanks
