Second HD drive not shown in BIOS

Hello,

I have a primary HDD bought on 2008.it works perfect
But problem is with my Sea Gate SATA 500 gb hard disk purchased on 2010,april.i have partitioned it and it was working good.
But suddenly from today morning, the second hard drive is not showing in my BIOS.

I have checked cables, they are perfect.
Please help, it has large amount data.

mbr damaged?

this can be damaged by virus or due to some unknow errors like registry errors.

start a virus scan at first and then repair mbr.

When BIOS cannot detect your harddisk ,how can a antivirus detect MBR?

I would recommend you to try using another PC and see if detects the HDD
