Lid closed in sleep how to turn on

Hello,
i have a dell ins. 1546 , i can close the lid and everything works. but when i put it to sleep how do i get it to come back on without opening the lid and pushing the power button...help

I'm not sure what is the problem now?

Do you want your PC to work when the lid is closed?

go to power management options in control panel and

change the setting to '' do nothing '' on closing the lid

no i have that done...how do i wake up my laptop from sleeping without opening the lid....like by using a wireless mouse or keyboard..thanks

Go to start and type

devmgmt.msc and enter

Right click on your keyboard or mouse option

Click on power management tab

Select Allow this device to wake the computer"

my keyboard or mouse option dosent have the powermangment tab.....they are just general tabs, i had seen that solution before, but i also seen alot of people were in the same situation as me, so now what???? thanks

Did you check your BIOS-power management options?

Also,go to run and type
cmd and press ok
Now run this command

powercfg -a

What result do you get?
