jPDF Text lets you do these things:
+ Load PDF documents from files, network drives, URLs or input streams.
+ Extract text.
+ Extract words as a vector of Strings.
It is written entirely in Java(TM) so your application remains platform independent.
As noted above, there is no need to install or configure additional drivers or software when deploying.
