If you have a broadband connection you might be able to connect a "router" (wired or wireless) to manage the splitting of the internet signal. You connect the router to the broadband modem and then attach multiple computers to the router.
If you are using a dial-up connection you attach a "switch" to the connected computer and turn on Windows "internet sharing" and then attach other computers to the switch.
It's best to find a friend that knows how to do this or pay for a professional to install everything.
