presario cq61-413SO Bios corruption i thinkClosed

Question

Hello,  my presario cq61-413SO isn't booting up the screen stays black like the computer wasn't eaven open. Power supply works and the computer caps lock light and num lock light flashes indicate that it's a bios corruption.  The trick that some say repairs it "un plug power and bios battery, hold power down for a minute then plug in power cable and it should work" DOES NOT WORK.  Should i consider getting a new bios or?
