Cant log unto skype

I received a notification from skype asking me t o upgrade my skype application on desktop so i did and ever since then it has been a Ripley believe it or not my skype has not been able to log on, Please i need an assistance and i need it immediately, Skype is just part of my business and i need it to make call's for my day to day business. I await your assistance ASAp
