Thanks Zohaib for your response, I was able to get a file from the lost directory folder but its encoded in US ASCII and UTF 8 and I dont know whether it is the same or is some garbage. Is there any way you can help with this as well please.
Your help is much appreciated.

Hi Anshumali Dwivedi,

It can be time consuming to retrieve the deleted message. Use FExplorer to open the System> Mail. Please use FExplorer's in-built text viewer to view these files. Browse through the folders and open all files inside them until you get the required SMS.
