Macro for inserting missing monthly rows

Hello,

Can someone please help me with writing up a macro which inserts rows, which contain missing monthly dates within a data set?

I basically want to use my worksheet used as a template for analysing different sets of data. I also need the macro to produce a scatter plot for analysing different data sets.

I need the macro to look within a data array and find the missing monthly dates. When macro has found the missing monthly dates, I need it to insert rows with the missing dates.

For example some of the dates are;

Mar-98

Nov-98

Mar-99

Mar-99

Apr-99

May-99

May-00

Dec-00


So i need someone to get excel to find the missing monthly dates from March 1998 to November 1998 and so forth. Once found to insert the missing rows.
