Hello,
My friend just bought a brand new HP G50 Notebook PC. Intel Pentium Dual CPU T3200 2.00 GHz 32-bit operating system two months ago which he let me borrow three days ago. Yesterday i was using the laptop and everything was fine but once I turned on the laptop today both the head phone jack and built in speakers are not working! I checked to make sure nothing was muted and put the volume to max. I also went under control panel and checked the volume controls and everything seemed fine (nothing muted). I even tried the windows troubleshooting fr sound issues and it was no help. I don't understand what happened and i didn't fiddle with anything because im scared of hurting this laptop. PleASE Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and if possible provide instructions in lamest terms...im not that great with computers. But nothing muted and im sure of that!

Hi, my name is your FRIEND!
If you don't get this fixed before I get it back....You are in BIG trouble! I can't believe you did this. Probably spilled your silly coffee on the laptop or something.
And be careful fixing it(those are LAMEST terms!), maybe take it to the local PC fixit shop or something!
