Cat5e plenum

I have some informations about cat5e plenum like 4-pair unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable, 24 AWG Copper Clad Aluminum, Verified Compliant With EIA/TIA /ETL, Low Smoke, CMP Plenum rated jacket.
Can anyone suggest me more informations about this ethernet cable?

Hi stevedaniel,

To answer your question it is required that we know two terms viz. "Plenum rated cable" and "Cat 5".

Plenum rated cable has a special insulation that has low smoke and low flame characteristics.

Category 5 cables (Cat 5) is a twisted pair cable for carrying signals. This type of cable is used in structured cabling for computer networks such as Ethernet.
