IF you have a message from Antivirus 2008 it is coming from a virus itself. See these instructions for removal:

I got infected last night. I went into Safe Mode and did a full scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. It removed all the infections (74 in all).
Then I restarted the computer normally and have no further problems.
Malwarebytes is a free program that took just over an hour to fully scan my computer.
