I've been trying to download the adobe flash player on my mac computer , after download is complete I click on it and it either shows error or box saying not recognized. I tried it three times cause it was working fine until one day I couldn't use youtube or see videos on different websites. Can someone tell why this happens.

From which site have you tried to download it from ? Tell me the url.

I went to the adobeflashplayer.com and thenI also tried troubleshooting manually. Right now I have it already downloaded in the download bar and I clicked it and it says not recognized.

First, the site you downloaded it from is not Adobe official site, your copy is probably corrupted the site is:

https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Uninstall the one you have, go the following link to download it

https://ccm.net/downloads/internet/4613-adobe-flash-player/
