Why would youtube embeds stop working on all browsers?

I can view videos on Youtube the site fine but when I go to any site that has a youtube embed I get "An error occurred please try later" message... the video behaves like it's going to load for a second and then I get the black error screen. Any idea of what could be causing this error as it happens across all browsers (IE, Firefox and Chrome) so Im assuming the problem is with my hardware?

I have had this particular laptop for about 15 months and have never had this issue before. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hello

Do you have installed the latest Adobe Flash Player installed?

Thanks for your reply yes.. I just ran diagnostic and it's saying that I have current version of Flash installed 15,0,0,239. This only started happening about 2 or 3 days ago.

Once again it happens on all browsers - I can view YT videos on the Youtube site but if there is an embed anywhere I get an error message.

and what error message would that be?

It's the standard black screen with "An error ocurred, please try again later. Learn more." The odd thing is the video starts to play and then goes to the black screen and I can even see the length of the video. This happens on ALL browsers and only happens on youtube videos that are embedded not on the Youtube site.
