Hi, certain keys on my laptop (Toshiba) won't work. To be specific 4,6, esc, F2, F4, F7, F10,F11,F12. They are al in two upper rows (maybe it means something). The trick with shutting the laptop down, removing the battery and cable then pressing and holding the power button didn't work for me. Any other solution?

Can you test the functions using an external USB keyboard?

This sounds like a keyboard malfunction which requires a replacement keyboard. Keyboard replacement is easy if you have the repair manual to tell you how.

Good Luck
