Hello,

I have an old Dell Latitude and I wanna reformat it. The trouble is it has no internal CD-

Rom drive or floppy (just a USB external) and

therefore the USB won't power the CD-Rom.

How can I reformat the drive? Do i need a Parallel Cable

and CD-Rom or is there another way?

Any suggestions are appreciated

hi,
you can boot from a flash drive if you want.
you need to configure your BIOS for this.
note that you will have to format your flash drive to the DOS format, and also installing windows from a flash drive will take you a lot of time.
it is better that you find a cd drive to do it.
