I have a toshiba satellite a105-s2061 laptop with windows xp pro , after re installing a new o.s. , i receive this error code oxc00d11ba when trying to play a c.d. how do i restore my sound device for free

You need to reinstall the drivers for your onboard soundchip (audio drivers).
You can find the drivers at the website of the PC manufacturer under your particular
make and model of PC. You should find them under "support". Good Luck
