Received a email from Microsoft saying my password word was incorrect and possible the account had been hacked.

My hotmail address still worked ok despite the change over to outlook, I've tried changing from hotmail.co.uk to outlook and I get the same problem.
Also all scans carried out have shown no issues with my PC.

Hello Willo,
Hotmail has now been replaced by Outlook.com so Hotmail is now Outlook.com and your Hotmail account should work in Outlook.com.

Also, I suspect that your computer is not safe against intrusions.

Hi, I've carried out all the options offered, when requested for alternate email or mobile number to send code to the code never gets sent.
Guess I'll just create a new address and forget about all the saved email I had.
